jerry-web

Common Java functionality for building web applications particularly working with Servlets and JSPs.

jerry-web is a module library for the uber jerry library project. This module provides helper functionality when writing Java web applications - such as common filters, request wrappers, and custom JSP tags. The utility classes are now a part of the jerry-core project.

  • Added a GsonTag for converting object to JSON inside a JSP

Versioning

For transparency and insight into our release cycle, and for striving to maintain backward compatibility, jerry-web will be maintained under the Semantic Versioning guidelines as much as possible.

Releases will be numbered with the follow format:

<major>.<minor>.<patch>

And constructed with the following guidelines:

  • Breaking backward compatibility bumps the major
  • New additions without breaking backward compatibility bumps the minor
  • Bug fixes and misc changes bump the patch
